• In this practice, you create space within yourself — body, mind, and heart — for the journey to parenthood. The class is accessible to all with reproductive organs, and uses various asanas (postures) that activate the endocrine system. No prior yoga experience is required. This class is generously offered for free from Toronto Yoga Mamas.

  • Join this energizing practice that builds heat and strength while releasing tension. In this practice, we focus on some foundational asanas (poses), while challenging ourselves with progressive balancing asanas. The practice incorporates drills for growing muscle and movement that fosters greater knowledge of our bodies and ourselves. In this class, we regularly activate the pelvic floor, focus on pelvic and spinal neutrality to relieve back pain, target hip mobility, and release the shoulders. The practice is available to all levels of practitioner. Looking forward to connecting with you on our mats.

  • In a chair yoga class, you can practice while seated, or using the chair as a prop for balance. The practice is open to all students with any level of balance, strength, and ability. Your chair is there for you whenever you need it. This class is accessible to everybody and every body.

  • By moving through a more energetic practice, we will build power, find balance, and quiet our minds.

  • The road to parenthood looks different for all of us. The one constant is that when we are pregnant our bodies experience constant change as our tiny humans grow. This practice is designed to provide you with relaxation, and strength that will serve you through your pregnancy, and in delivery and recovery. You’ll learn postures (asanas) for pelvic floor strengthening and release, round ligament pain relief, for labour and delivery, and for recovery.

  • This practice is more for parents to get the benefits of yoga in a space that's built for your wee ones to feel free to be themselves. We'll sing songs on occasion to relax the wee ones, and I will happily help with soothing when and where possible. For wee ones (babes under 2, or those that can happily remain in a playpen provided), most babes and toddlers will be more interested in playing while their parents practice. You are encouraged to bring a toy, and some will be provided to keep the more mobile littles entertained in the middle of the room while we practice.

  • Restorative yoga provides your body with maximum comfort. The focus is on complete relaxation of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and your whole self. Excellent for an end-of-week practice, for the active person, the meditative practitioner, and the new yoga student — restoration is accessible to all. This practice will prepare you for a fabulous night of sleep. No prior yoga experience is required.

  • Each class is tailored to you or your group. Working together we will design a practice that meets your goals for fitness, injury recovery, meditation, overall wellness, or for your fertility, prenatal, or postnatal journey. No prior yoga experience is required.
