Yoga has been a constant in my life, and it has taught me to bend so I don’t break.
Yoga helped me heal from a spinal injury that caused pain worse than natural childbirth. Then, it helped me have a joyful pregnancy, birth, and recovery.
While I will always be a student, I became a prenatal yoga instructor when I was 25-weeks pregnant with my daughter.
Since then, I’ve completed my 500-hour Hatha multi-style yoga teacher training, and I learn more the more I teach.
Before certifying as a teacher, I practiced for nearly 15 years.
I first learned yoga from a friend while I was living and travelling in Thailand, India, and Nepal. Since then, I have soaked up the wisdom, enthusiasm, and joy from every yogi I’ve had the pleasure to practice with.
Now that I’ve developed my skills, and harnessed some of that joy for myself by deepening my understanding of the ancient art of yoga, I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to share it with you.
